CarSkipper is a Texas-based marketplace that adds a human-in-the-loop logistics layer ("Skippers") to car transactions. We handle logistics, identity verification, and paperwork to make buying and selling cars safe and frictionless.
A Skipper is a trained CarSkipper professional who facilitates the meeting between a buyer and a seller or brings a dealership car to your door. They verify IDs, perform vehicle walkarounds, capture signatures, and ensure safe handoffs.
We currently serve the Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio metro areas.
For Buyers
The deposit locks in your 7-day exclusive reservation on the listing. This shows the seller you are serious and prevents others from buying while you arrange your test drive.
Yes! If the vehicle is not as described during your test drive, your deposit is fully refundable.
For Sellers
Listing your car on CarSkipper is 100% free. We only charge a small success fee when the car is sold and paid for.
Payments & Fees
All transactions are processed through Stripe with bank-grade encryption and secure escrow protection.
